It rained Sunday afternoon and I wondered if it would rain on the first day of school, which was on Monday. It was nice because it broke the heat and allowed cool air to rush into our apartment. We had a rainless first day and it was actually quite sunny, but Monday night we had a great lightning storm. Since we don't have our satellite TV hooked up yet, we just sat and watched the light show outside (here's a short sample).
Speaking of TV, I picked up a TV Guide at the local supermarket Monday night and I'm really curious what this show is about:
I also got another McArabia at the McDonald's in the Marjane supermarket because I didn't have enough supplies to cook. OK, the reality is that I was too tired to cook, especially after a rainless first day of school. But the point is that I think I will stick to the real tajine from now on.
